EPNS A1 (Electro Plated Nickle Silver – Highest Quality). With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handles of the spoons and forks with RD 889123 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND ESS ESS & S EP A1 mark and on the blades with the SMITH SEYMOUR LTD SHEFFIELD mark. All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to world famous. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has the normal signs of use with some marks on the blades and wear on the fork prongs. It has been in storage for a while so will benefit from a polish before you use it for the first time as I have only polished the pieces in the photo for the place setting. The wooden box does have a few marks/scratches on the outside as per the photo but has done a great job protecting its contents.
